Hola Chicas! If you're following me on Snapchat (which you totally should - sadhbh4), then I guess you've probably already noticed that these last few days have been pretty hectic. Nonetheless I managed to find the time to pop out the the Cork International Hotel on Monday night for a meetup with the renowned Irish Fashion and Lifestyle blogger, Erika Fox of Retro Flame. Although my decision to attend the event was super impulsive, I'm beyond delighted that I finally met one of Ireland's top bloggers and of course the most inspiring role model of our time for young Irish women
They say you should never meet your inspirations, so I guess I was a bit apprehensive about meeting Erika. However she was the most down to earth person I have ever met, and in a way it seemed as though we had known her since, well forever!
I attended the event with my friend and fellow blogger Ailbhe Woods of The Red Brunette
, and overall the night was beyond successful. From the champagne reception and nibbles on arrival to the goody bags waiting for us in the conference room, it was definitely worth skipping a few hours of study!
I was really impressed by the attention to detail at the event. Everything from Erika's Depop rail to her favourite Ballymaloe Relish in the goodie bags really brought the whole event together!
