Saturday is one of my favourite day's of the week. It's a day for relaxing and getting things done, all at the same time. I figured that most of you probably don't really know what a typical weekend in the life of "Sadhbhers" is really like, so for today's Blogmas post, I'm sharing my Saturday with you all.

This morning's alarm was set for 8:00am. I stayed at Eoin's house last night, so free parking ending at 8:30am called for an early Saturday morning. I was home by nine, and I put on a wash before heading into town to run some errands and have brunch with Eoin. Our usual favourite, the Crawford Gallery Café was mobbed this morning, so we headed to Perry Street Market Café instead. I got waffles with bacon and maple syrup, and Eoin got the pancakes.
I also picked up a new set of lenses for my glasses, so I spent most of the day squinting trying to get used to my prescription change. I hit the road for Kenmare shortly afterwards, to meet my family for some Christmas Tree shopping. I'm so excited to start decorating it tomorrow! We even picked up some new decorations in The White Room before heading home.
The weather was so crazy today. We ran a few errands on the way home, and it's safe to say that I got absolutely soaked pretty much every time I left the car! Nonetheless, we headed home on the 6:30pm ferry.
While it might not seem like the most interesting day, I love the festive season! It's time to break out the Christmas jumpers and all of the cute decorations, and also a time for relaxing with friends and family.
