Bruised: Halloween Makeup

Yes, I will be the first to admit that I'm probably the worst at doing makeup - but Halloween is a definite exception! Check out this look I created using only an eyeshadow palette from Primark/Penneys

Halloween is definitely one of my favourite times of the year so I love playing around with makeup! This look is probably the easiest because you'll find everything you need in your very own makeup bag!

When you're creating your look, it's really important to use lots of purples or reds to give a more realistic look - yes it sounds silly now, but try it out and see how it goes!

Last Minute Halloween High Street Shop

Halloween

Yes, that's right it is the absolute best time of the year again! You might have caught my other post with a few costume ideas over HERE, but if you still don't have your costume, don't worry! Here's a few last minute buy online, no fuss and oh-so-reusable pieces from all my favourite high street stores!!

This first piece I pulled together is for those of you that absolutely dread the thought of getting all dressed up. It's a really edgy costume and so discreet that no matter what, don't worry you have zero chances of embarrassment!! Just to make your shopping spree easier, all of these pieces are from H&M, so it's simple for a quick one stop shop!!

  Halloween: The Biker Chic

Neexxt up I pulled this uber alternative Alice in Wonderland look from lots of cute little pieces over at Topshop. I absolutely LOVE the dress - and yes you won't get so much wear out of it during the Winter, but you'll be digging it out of the back of your wardrobe by the time Summer comes around!

 Alice In Wonderland

My next pick is this super alternative Superman (or woman or whatever you like to call it) outfit! You can practically pull this one together from all the bits and pieces you have at home other than the t-shirt, but don't worry you'll easily find one on Amazon, eBay or even Primark/Penneys!

  Superwoman

Finally Peace it Out with this oh so vintage look hippy look! I found all of these pieces on Boohoo, so hurry up and order yours before it's too late! I love this look because it's so cute and yet so practical - you won't have to be stumbling over your heels or worrying about your dress all night long!!

The LBD

LBD

Today I'm taking the pleasure of boring you all with a cute little post about the importance of the LBD (little black dress) as a wardrobe essential. Whether you're heading out for the night, or you're just hanging around for the day you can't go wrong with a Little Black Dress - it's definitely a wardrobe staple that EVERY girl needs!

I've trawled through looaaads of dresses to find my Top 5 LBD pics. I love the versatility of this first one, it can take you from day straight through to night with its beautiful fit and embellished collar! The second one is from a little vintage store, and I love the material - it's really unique! I love no. 3 because it has a really edgy look and once again is very versatile. Number 4 is very preppy, so it's perfect for work and you could easily carry it on to a night out. Finally number 5, one of my favourites, adds the perfect amount of sparkle to your outfit!

LBD
1. Far Fetch // 2. Love miss Daisy // 3. Net-A-Porter // 4. House of Fraser // 5. Nelly

But no matter what you're into or what age you are, you can find an LBD for you, so make sure you drop a line when you find your perfect pick!

Halloween's coming up all too soon so it's super exciting to try piecing a costume together for the 31st. Unfooortuneatley, I won't be around this Halloween, but that doesn't mean I'm not looking at costumes! Like every Halloween, it's impossible to find a costume that's not the same as anyone elses, so here's a few DIY bits and pieces I found all over Pinterest, that are a bit different to your usual Batwoman, Supergirl and Mario Brothers - so take a look, it's time to get crafty!

1. Breakfast at Tiffany's
This duo is a super cute, super easy to source costume and eeeven better you can team up with a bunch of your friends with this one *insert cute group photos heerrreee*

This costume definitely requires a full on eBay trawl, you'll find everything from the dress to the pearls over there - so just click the picture and it'll link you all the way over to the Pin on Pinterest

One of my number one faavourite trends this Season is the Midi Skirt! It's something fresh, something that, as teens we're really not used to! Finally fashion is breaking down the stereotype that short skirts and tight shirts are better, and we're moving into an era where beauty is more important. This Season is taking us back to classy, so here's a few of my top midi skirt looks!

Midi Skirts are definitely a crowd pleaser. Whether your style is romantic or edgy, you can find one that works for you
