What's in my Makeup Bag: Summer 2016

Hola Chicas! If you're following me on Instagram (right HERE) or even on Snapchat (@sadhbh4), then I guess you'll already know a few of my current makeup faves. I'm usually a high end makeup kind of girl, and I rarely choose drugstore products, however my current favourites will 100% not break the bank, so I'll pop some clickable links to each of them below. So here it is, all my favourite Summer makeup (*cough* cue Summer sunshine please)!

1. Collection Sheer Loose Powder 

This is a recent purchase, and quite frankly at about €4, what's not to love about this powder! This translucent powder is currently my holy grail powder. I usually use it to set my foundation, and it never fails to give me a smooth finish. However, if I could change anything about it, it'd have to be the packaging. I'm not going to lie - when I opened this I may have accidentally spilled about a quarter of it into the bathroom sink (tragic, I know but c'est la vie - proceed with caution with this one)

2. Rimmel Provocalips 730 "Make your move"

I have never loved a pharmacy lippy as much as this one. I love the colour on this one, and although it doesn't last the full 16 hours that it claims to, I'm all cool with that, because for €8.99 I had to expect at least one flaw. What I really love about this is the clear Lock & Shine Gloss - it works great with 90% of lipsticks in my makeup bag, making this gloss probably one of the most versatile ones I own

3. Benefit "They're Real" Mascara

I have a love/hate relationship with this mascara, but right now I am absolutely loving it. It gives a really natural finish with 0% clumps - what more could I ask for from a mascara? 

4. MAC "Make me Gorgeous"

Would this really be a Summer post without a vibrant Mac pick? I don't think so! I picked up Make Me Gorgeous" during a trip to the Big Apple last year, and it's still one of my firm favourites! Sometimes red lipstick can be a bit heavy during the Summer, so this shade seems to be the perfect alternative!

5. Rimmel "Lasting Finish by Kate" shade 08

I absolutely adore the colour of this one! For a pharmacy lippy, it's pretty good - but I'm not going to lie, the smell is not my favourite. Nonetheless, this is one of my go to lipsticks at the moment, so I'll definitely be popping into Boots to pick up a new shade sometime soon!
