Yes, suit shopping is generally stereotyped as a male thing to do, but we all need that one uber smart go-to look, so while we can wear suits for about 107 different reasons and in 112 different ways, here's a standard guide on what you need for things like interviews, pitches meetings and more. But just before I begin my latest rant, I would LOVE if you guys could take some time to vote for me for the Blog Awards Ireland, under "Best Youth Blog" over HERE, and "Best Fashion Blog" right HERE
So here's some of my top tips for 21st Century suit shopping;
1. Aim for a fitted look, but not too fitted: Emphasis on the not too fitted. It is not professional to enter a meeting or interview with an excessive amount of cleavage on show, or a too tight, too short suit skirt. So just don't do it full stop.
2. Choose a versatile suit: My go-to pieces are from Topshop, and they seem to be suitable for pretty much any business occasion, so when it comes to suits, Dare to Rewear. When you're picking colours, don't forget you're going to need to be able to wear this all year-round, so bear that in mind too!
3. Wear comfortable shoes; We are 110% NOT talking your fave Uggs here, but make sure you choose a nice pair of flats, that you can walk in comfortably. If you're going to be wearing heels you simply HAVE to make sure you can walk in them like a pro, otherwise it's a no go.
4. Don't be afraid to be different; Yes, it's okay to stand out, you don't have to be all matchy matchy, just make sure you find some nice pieces that work well together, like maybe a blazer and some suit pants? It's okay to stand out, so don't be afraid to express yourself.

5. Find a nice belt; No saggy bums, keep those pants up!
6. Choose pieces that make you feel comfortable; This is important. I don't think I'd ever go into a meeting wearing a skirt, simply because I know I'll feel less self conscious in a pair of suit pants - so find what works for you & stick to it!
7. Be confident; As amazing as your suit may be, it's not the same without a bit of sparkle, so wear it with confidence, so everybody can see you shine!
Until next time,
Very informative!
