Golden Globes: Best & Worst Dressed

Yes, it's possibly one of the biggest Awards Ceremonies of the year and it's definitely a make it or break it situation for fashion statuses - so here's a few of my favourite aaand not so favourites

Emma Stone

Emma Stone's look is a definite winner for me in this Lanvin number, and proabably one of my favourites of the night. I absolutely love this effortlessly chic, fun look, and it has the perfect amount of sparkle for the Red Carpet. Simplicity has to be a winner for me every time.

Goldani

Julia Goldani comes in very close second for me, wearing this beautiful Carmen Marc Valvo dress. Again, it was the simplicity of this piece that won me over, and the colour looks absolutely beautiful against the red carpet

Lupita

Lupita Nyongo looked absolutely stunning in this Giambattista Valli Couture piece. I love how she opted for something completely different, and the 3D flowers on the bust are just fab. The colour really looked great against her skin tone while her makeup worked really well with the whole look

And of course there's always gonna be the one's that get it very, very wrong:

Kiera Knightley definitely wore my least favourite outfit of the night. Yes, she is preggers, but this outfit still does her zero favours. Definietly too many frills going on. That said, she was definitely not alone in the "Worst Dressed" lists of the Golden Globes 2015. Rosamund Pike is a close second with this really ill fitted dress. As a dress alone, this piece is beautiful - but it is definitely not made for her body and doesn't do her any favours. Kerry Washington's dress is a no no for me too this red carpet season. Although it's not as bad as the others, I'm definitely not a fan of this oh-so-odd body con look and the fabric pattern isn't the best for this piece. Maybe if it was floor length she could have pulled it off, but for now it's a no.

Make sure you let me know your faves in the comments belooww..

  1. Emma Stone's always so gorgeous! Love Rosamund Pike's dress but I agree, it doesn't suit her very well.

    1. She nails it everytime! I bet Kendall Jenner would work Rosamund's dress really well.

  2. Amy Adams was my absolute favourite! She looked so beautiful. And Emma Stone's hair and make-up were so perfect! With you 100% on the worst dressed! Not sure what Kiera was thinking.

    1. Her dress was a very brave choice! Kiera definitely needs to play around with working that baby bump with her wardrobe!
