Valentines Day - What to Wear

Hola Chicas! Whether you're planning on heading out this Valentine's Day, or you fancy a casual night in (preferably with a tub of Ben & Jerry's, maybe a chick flick.. or seven) or you're planning on heading out, today I've got your outfits covered. I've pulled these pieces from a few different high street stores, and as per usual I've popped a bunch of clickable links for you guys below

vday

I'm absolutely in love with the Topshop pinafore on the left, so I've styled it with a few neutral tones, just to keep it the focal point of this outfit. The bag is gorgeous too, and it works really well with these River Island boots. I love how the pink hues in this are really toned down, so it's not exactly screaming cheesy Valentine's Day

I was so surprised to find this dress in New Look, because I hardly ever shop there myself - and of course I've style this with some more toned down Valentine's hues, a statement necklace and a basic clutch. What I really love about these pieces is that you can totally rewear them separately, which is always a bonus for me!

Until next time,

Staying Chill

January is definitely one of the most stressful months of the year, so I figured it was about time I shared some of my favourite ways to stay chill this year. Let me know how you keep it Zen in the comments below;

1. Hot Chocolate

There is literally nothing better in this world than a hot chocolate on a cold rainy day, the more marshmallows the better, am I right?

2. Cute Dates

Preferably with Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows and my boyfriend, Eoin. It's so hard to find time to just relax during school, especially in Sixth Year, when the whole world just seems to revolve around studying. I cannot wait to get some proper chill time this Summer, because there are so many people I need to catch up with!

3. Family

This is, and always will be a love/hate situation. Some days all you'll need is the people you love, other days all you'll need is to be far from them, but either way they're always there - and I'm not gonna lie, that's pretty great

4. Reading

Everyday I spend so much time either studying or blogging, so I feel like reading is the perfect way for me to escape pretty much anything and everything that's stressing me out.

5. Exercise

We all hate doing it 90% of the time, but it's really the only thing that really 100% lifts my mood. Sometimes happiness really does take a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears

Until next time,

Sadhbhers' January Makeup Faves

Hola Chicas! My makeup bag has evolved so much lately, so I figured I should share a few of my essentials with you guys. Hopefully I'll get a chance to pop a few more of my own images of my fave products up on the blog in my next essentials post, but right now I'm going to give you all a few clickable links to where you can buy all my faves below;

mmm

For those of you that know me, I am 100% not the kind of girl that wears makeup everyday, I just simply cannot and will not put my skin through that. I guess that's probably why I'm pretty cool with buying pricier makeup - it works out better for me both financially and in terms of my hormonal skin. Don't forget I've popped all the clickable pic-links below!

1. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palettes; If you're following me on Instagram (@sadhbhers, HERE) or even over on Facebook (right HERE), then I guess you'll already know that the Naked Smoky Palette & Naked 2 are my fave Urban Decay Palettes. The brown hues in these are just to die for, and these palettes have some perfect shades for both day and night

2. Mac Warm Neutrals; This one is a newbie to my collection - so I'm still not 100%, but how could I say no to these shades?

3. Benefit 'They're Real' Push-Up Liner; For those of you that still haven't mastered those cute little flicks, this one's for you, you won't regret it

4. Mac Extra Dimension 3D Black Lash; I'm talking zero clumps here - this one is perfect

5. Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil Liner; This is great forr super smoky looks, because it glides on so easily and is super smudgy. I'm not gonna lie, this one's been top of my list for over a year - I just love it

6. Chubby Cheek Sticks; The Clinique buy I've featured is one of my faves, but right now I'm actually using a Ted Baker chubby stick. I just love rosy cheeks, and these work great for me

7. Kate Moss X Rimmel Lipstick; This was my first drugstore lipstick purchase in a while, and I must say I'm pretty happy with it.

8. Mac's "Velvet Teddy" & "Cosmo; Cosmo being my favourite here. I wear it for literally everything - it's just really nice with my skin tone. And it smells great *bonus*

9. Nars Primer & Foundation; Me and the primer have a pretty unstable relationship at the moment, but the foundation is pretty great - pricey, but pretty great

10. Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss; This has been a favourite for years, and it's still top of my list!

Instagram Diary #8

Yo yo, welcome back to the blog & happy Saturday! This week has just dragged on so much, but nonetheless I'm back with another Insta-Diary - number 8 in the series to be precise. For those of you that don't follow me on Instagram (@sadhbhers), you should, and if you can't then this post is basically just a way for you guys to see what I've been up on and what I've been wearing on more of a daily basis;

How absolutely gorgeous is the Mac Warm Neutrals Palette?! With all the Leaving Cert study it's been hard to find time to test it out, but if all goes to plan my eyes will be totally on fleek tomorrow (fingers crossed, no guarantees)

I feel like I just live in my mustard jumper, and I'm really going to have to sort that issue out as we head further into Spring *sigh* I just love the colour - it's so vibrant! And look at cute lil' Jenkins below, really hating bathtime - this photo makes me smile every time I see it!
