Best Dressed: Oscars 2015

Yes, the Oscars may be over, but it's safe to say that the commotion rages on across the media as we hear about the good, the bad and the ugliest outfits of this years Academy Awards, so I thought I'd show you guys my top 5 faves this year, take a peek and let me know what you guys are loving in the comments below:

The award for best dressed (from moi) has to go to the gorgeous Jennifer Lopez in Ellie Saab Couture. The colour looks so gorgeous on her and I'm loving her classic ponytail. J-Lo adds an extra sparkle with her Neil Lane jewelery, valued at $2.5million!

Second for me had to be Oprah Winfrey. She looked so great on the Red Carpet in her custom made Vera Wang gown. The colour looked really lovely against her complexion and the shape and style of this dress suited her figure so well

Aand another of my favourites - Chloe Grace Mortez looked so gorgeous in this strapless Miu Miu piece. She looked so delicate and elegant in this unique fitted dress, definite winner!

Of course John Legend's wife, Chrissy Teigen deserves a whole lot of praise for rocking this Zuhair Murad piece. No doubt the were the hottest couple of the night!

And finally, Zendaya Coleman looked so beautiful in her all white, satin Vivienne Westwood gown. She looks very elegant, and despite a whole lot of hate going on about her hair, I actually love it! She looks really young and unique

Will you be my Valentine?

Yes, the drama and commotion of the last few weeks has all led up to this - one day, one night and more importantly one outfit. This year I had the pleasure of spending the day with my boyfriend, so needless to say I was spoilt rotten! But anyway, that's beside the point, take a peek below for my latest OOTN

Dress, Nasty Gal // Shoes, Primark/Penneys // Socks, Topshop // Necklace, H&M // Bracelets, Pandora & Live Lokai

I absolutely love this outfit, it's probably one of my favourites so far. I am so glad it's finally time to break out the bright colours again! The shoes really make this look for me, they're uber affordable and sooo comfy. I've been looking for a classy minimalistic pair for so long that I just couldn't resist this bargain pair from Penneys (Primark) last week. The socks add such a cute young vibe - I am forever in love with Topshop's frilly socks!

I must say I was very impressed with my Valentine's Day present this year - Kudos to my boyfriend and once off photographer! I have always wanted a Live Lokai bracelet, they're just so cute! It's definitely given me a little push to get through the next few months and maybe even to survive until Summer! Scroll down a tad for a close up (*warning hairy arms included*)

Until Next Time,

Valentine's Day: Gifts For Her

vday

Yes, it's that time of the year again when we can freely vom and loved up couples, but hey whether you're a single pringle or in a relationship, you deserve a post-January gift, so here are a few of my top Valentine's gifts for her;

1. Flowers: Can you really go wrong with these? Pretty affordable depending on what type you get but still classy (as long as she's not allergic to any..!)

2. Cute Jim-Jams: You can never ever have enough jammies, so this Unicorn pair is a real winner for me - they're just so cute! I found these over on Boohoo, so head over and check out all the rest too

3. Alexa Chung IT: This book is a fashion lovers must have. Alexa Chung is probably one of my favourite fashion icons, so if she's into fashion make sure you grab one of these!

4. Alex & Ani: These are all the rage lately. It's rare to see a girl that doesn't have or want one of these. I really don't think you can go wrong with an Alex & Ani bracelet, especially this cute little bicycle one!

5. Photo Album: Seriously cute idea is to get your hands on a photo album and fill it up with all your fave snaps. I love this one from Urban Outfitters, and they've got loads more cute ones so make sure you take a look

6. Pandora: Once again, every girl wants one. Yes, they are not as popular as they were two years ago but these bracelets are just a timeless piece in any girls wardrobe. Plus it makes future present planning easier seen as you can just keep adding to the charm collection

7. Glossy Box Subscription: This gift is really practical. I think everyone wants a Glossy Box subscription, who wouldn't want a box of little gifts at your door once a month!

8. Benefit Gift Set: For the makeup lover, pick up one of these cute Benetins and you cannot go wrong. Plus they look adorable so the brownie points just keep adding up

9. Cupcakes: Fiinally the homemade gift. Probably takes the most amount of effort but in fairness it probably will win the most brownie points! Make an effort, even if they taste mank it's worth a try! Check out the recipe for the ones in the pic over HERE

Friday Faves

Sadhbhers!

Yes, it is finaally Friday! It seems like I've been waiting for today for way too long, but hey mid-term is just around the corner so hang in there! But for now these are my Friday faves for when you feel like you've had the absolute worst week, so take a look and let me know what brightens up your week in the comments below!

Friday Faves

1. Pyjamas: Yes cute PJ's is an absolute must and to be quite honest I rarely wear mismatched jim-jams, so I absolutely love this Topshop set! I'm a huge fan of nostalgic type jammies, so they really help the healing process after an uber loonngg week.

2. Facemasks: These really are essential! I love H&M's cucumber peel off face mask, it's literally a no mess mask process and it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed every time. Facemasks are super important for me because I have really oily skin - so let me know if you have any more recommendations!

3. Movies: Okay, it's Friday night so it is finally acceptable to stay up too late watching movies. My number one fave is The Devil Wears Prada, so if you haven't watched it then make sure you do ASAP! Aaand of course on my must watch list the famed "The Fault in Our Stars." I've read the book and I loved it, so I MUST see this soon!

4. Nail Varnish: Nothing feels better than having a full set of your fave colour nails. For me, it's always sparkles, but it's finally acceptable to break out the pastel shades again - Spring is here after all!

5. Hot Chocolate and Biscuits: My favourite comfort foods after a really pooh week, so whether you've got the time (or motivation) to bake your own cookies, or yoour just popping to the shop to get a packet of Marylands, make sure you grab your favourite dunking biscuits - Go on, treat yourself, it's Friday!
